30 Jun Graduate Recruitment Update – June 2016
It has been a busy start to the year with the development of key graduate programmes in Transport & Logistics, Software Development and professional services.
Focusing on the attraction of students from across the UK and internationally to raise the profile of opportunities in these sectors and encourage applicants. We have reached over 95,000 students through our recruitment campaigns, an example you can see here Link to IFS pages? and engaged over 10,000 applicants from across the UK and Europe. With an additional 1000 candidates headhunted by our team.
Diversity is at the core of two of our programmes with transport company The Go-Ahead Group, who we partnered with to develop a programme and attraction campaign that would encourage greater gender diversity. This focused on the development of personalised messaging and targeted communication channels to reach their ‘ideal candidate’ with a balanced and unbiased approach. We are delighted that the programme of work has successfully secured 50:50 ratio of male to female graduates joining the programme this year.
It is a busy time of year at Gradvert HQ with assessment centres drawing to a close and many graduates joining their graduate programmes over the coming weeks. Recruitment cycles are changing with more graduates joining employers throughout the year moving away from the traditional September start. If you are looking for new talent in your business, now is a good time to start with 1000’s of students leaving university this month.
