The Govia ThamesLink Railway Fast Track Management Programme is now Open

Govia ThamesLink Railway is one of the UK’s busiest rail networks, comprising of Thameslink, Southern, Great Northern and Gatwick Express. With over 273 million passenger journeys completed every year on the network, the company offers a fast paced, varied and dynamic experience for it’s growing team.

The Fast Track Management Scheme

The programme will offer the successful candidate a robust on the job training, learning and development scheme, with the aim of fast tracking individuals to leadership positions in the business within 18 months.

 

The well rounded programme aims to give you experience in the different areas of the business, to allow you to shape your future management position within the company. This will include first hand practical experience and learning within the operational side of the business through rotations in key areas.

Govia Thameslink Railway comprises of different operating companies within the South East and London. They offer a variety of different working locations and experiences, with the purpose of shaping you into a competent manager to be able to work in different operational roles. This allows you to focus on your career development path and finding the area of the business most suited to you.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and have a minimum of a years work experience in a customer service, retail or hospitality environment. You must be a self-starter and be resilient in dealing with a variety of different teams, roles and people within the business.
